Ojike, Okechukwu and Company was formed in June 1975 by an amalgamation of two firms-Emmanuel Okechukwu and Company and Igwe Ojike and Company, owned by Emmanuel Okechukwu and Igwe Ojike Respectively

Both Partners trained and qualified in England and are members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales as Well as the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria

In March 2009, Okechukwu retired from the Practice on grounds of age. The firm has its head office in Lagos with branch offices in Kano and Port Harcourt
